John 3:16-17 Cross
John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Jesus died on the cross for our sins so that we may have eternal life. The cross is a symbol of Christianity and is a reminder of what Jesus did for us. It is also a reminder that we are forgiven and that we should forgive others. John 3:17 says, "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him." Jesus came into the world to save us from our sins. He died on the cross so that we could have eternal life. When we look at the cross, we are reminded of Jesus' love for us and his sacrifice for our salvation.
